In recent decades, there has been an increase in the proportion of foreign settlement, which has raised many safety and integration issues. Although ideas of possible flaws seem reasonable, this essay thinks living abroad will pay dividends.
To begin with, there are countless benefits when it comes to living abroad. First, residency in another nation leads to freedom from strict social laws and rules. For example, homosexuals in Russia tend to move to other European countries because homosexual means the death penalty. Second, foreign residency is always associated with higher opportunities to experience a more advanced and standardized learning environment. This means serving as an incentive for them to gain academic and experiential knowledge, and to enhance their career prospects with a better social status.
On the other hand, there are some potential problems related to working or living in a foreign environment. First, individuals who move abroad themselves may be very sensitive to homesickness and nostalgia. These psychological disorders discourage them from integrating, which increases the possibility of isolation from the local population abroad. In addition, a foreign settlement can culminate in issues of cultural clash because of religious beliefs. For example, some Islamist refugees are subject to racial discrimination and even physical beating because of the prejudice that Islamism is the cause of terrorism.
In conclusion, despite the ideas of safety and absorption difficulties, foreign residence will provide a better standard of living in terms of freedom and prospects for education.
